LiveScan is the latest technology in  use today for capturing fingerprints, a device that electronically captures the image of your fingerprints and then uploads that information to the FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) who then transmits the fingerprints to the FBI for a background check. We at Astute fingerprint for level I & level II background checks.

Level I background check is a hard copy fingerprint card in which your prints are rolled onto and scanned on a fingerprint card, the printed card is then mailed to the FDLE for your background check, The results will be sent directly to the agency requesting your background check.

Level II background check is when you are fingerprinted and your prints get transmitted electronically to the FDLE & FBI. These result are sent directly to the agency requesting your background check. The fingerprint data that is sent to the FDLE & FBI is encrypted and will ONLY be sent via a hard wire connection. The security of our clients information is of the highest importance.
